ZGMF-X19A-K Infinite Kurai Seigi

So, finally did a photo shoot of my customised Infinite Justice. Tried new techniques this time around, using natural light, and multiple shots of the same pose from different points of view. Here it is, enjoy!

it was a pain getting the shield to stay in position...not the greatest hand design and mount design, but it works...

underside of the backpack. As you can see, there are handles on the underside for a hanging pose for the model, but it's a pain to try to get the hands into the slots and get it to stay up. Mounting the backpack on a base doesn't really work since the back part of the main model gets in the way of the stand. And I have no idea what the two inner hooks are for.

first pic of many of my MG ZGMF-X19A ∞ Justice, "modded" to fit the name Kurai Seigi (Kurai=dark/black, Seigi=justice, hence the play on the name)

A-Kon 20...or what i rememeber of it...

so, A-Kon (click the link for the site) was a blast, all three days were filled lots of people cosplaying, sadly i only got like 5% of all the cosplays there...now onto coverage...or what i remember of it...

Friday:
nothing much, just the starting of the Kon, few cosplayers here and there, nothing too amazing, except for Pyramid head. the concerts were amazing. ALSDEAD certainly started off the concert with a good atmosphere, and camino ended the concert on an even better atmosphere. Everyone that left the room were still rocking out to the songs (not that hard to do since the speakers were turned up all the way up...). the dance that followed was also raging, sadly i didn't go, but lots of others did...needed to let my ears heal crom the ALSDEAD+camino jrock barrage...

Saturday:
lots of cosplayers, wentout as pedobear, hunting for some lolis...sadly some girl stole my bait and i ended up having only a stick for the remainder of the day TT-TT...The rest of the day was pretty much the same; cosplay, photos, pose, repeat. at night, the dances were pretty much like friday, except that one was a ball and the second one was a rave...don't remember much of that night except for this random alarm at 4 in the morning...

Sunday:
the day that most of us bought our stuff (LOTS OF DISCOUNTS!), there wer still a few cosplayers, but it was mostly shopping time...

that pretty much wraps up what i remember of A-Kon...

just reading this won't give you an impression of how EPIC it was, you have to go to it to grasp the epicness that words can't describe

refer to the photo dump for a sample of the Kon

A-KON Day 00

so, with A-Kon just one (ok...less than 12 hours away...) i'm going to be covering some of the convention through cosplay photos, look forward to those!

on a side note: i'll be cosplaying as Pedobear, so if anyone reads this and is going to be at A-Kon on saturday, look for the Pedobear!
